Pilot Officer LEWIS JOHNSTONE BURPEE is one of eight men, all serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force, who were killed in the Second World War and who are commemorated on this plaque in Knox Presbyterian Church in Ottawa, Ontario.

CIMETIÈRE DE GUERRE DE BERGEN-OP-ZOOM Pays-Bas
Le CIMETIÈRE DE GUERRE DE BERGEN-OP-ZOOM est situé à 39 kilomètres au nord-ouest d'Antwerp et à 19 kilomètres après avoir passé la frontière des Pays-Bas. La N11 relie Antwerp à Bergen-op-Zoom via Kapellen, Pulte, Hoogerheide et finalement à la Bergen-op-Zoom.
En atteignant la station de chemin de fer de Bergen-op-Zoom, tournez à droite sur Bredastraat. Roulez 500 mètres sur cette route qui devient la Wouwsestraatweg et continuez tout droit pour 2,5 kilomètres. Vous êtes maintenant sur la rue Ruytershoveweg et le cimetière de guerre se trouve à gauche, 200 mètres plus loin que le cimetière canadien.
