In 1949, the Britannia Boating Club Memorial Park Association was formed to honour Club members killed overseas. An acre of land was purchased at Baskin's Beach on the Ottawa River. A cairn and flagpole was erected and a brass plaque honouring fallen members was attached to the plaque. The brass plaque states 'the Britannia Boating Club honours its members who gave their lives in his majesty's service during World War I 1914-1918 and World War II 1939-1945.' Landscaping was added in 1997. The Britannia Boating Club was renamed the Britannia Yacht Club (BYC). The Britannia Yacht Club (2777 Cassels Street Ottawa K2B 6N6) maintains the memorial park and cairn. The memorial park remains a popular camping area for Club members.

Flying Officer Allan Gainford Lillico, one of the 11 members of the Britannia United Church who died in service March 14, 1944 during WW2, was a former scoutmaster of the 10th (Britannia) troop which met at the Britannia United Church. Allan Lillico is listed on the Honour Roll at Britannia United Church. "Boy Scouts" (Ottawa Citizen - Apr 19, 1944)

Flying Officer Allan Gainford Lillico is one of 11 members of the Britannia United Church (Ottawa) who died in service March 14, 1944 during WW2. Rev Gordon Dangerfield held a special memorial service for members of the congregation who gave their lives in World War II. The names were added to the Church honour roll. CIMETIÈRE D'OXFORD (BOTLEY) Berkshire, Royaume-Uni
Botley se situe 2 miles à l'ouest de la ville d'Oxford dans la paroisse de North Hinksey. Quittez la voie de contournement Oxford Western (A34) à l'échangeur Botley et prenez la sortie signalisée Oxford A420. Aux feux de circulation, prenez à gauche et immédiatement à droite sur la ruelle North Hinksey. L'entrée du cimetière est à environ 200 verges sur le côté droit.
