On the night that Dickie's plane crashed, only he and Art Price were killed. White evade back to England with the help of the Danish underground. The rest of the crew were POW's for the rest of the war.

F/Sgt. Lamb made this statement to the Senior Officer at his POW camp. It was passed on to the RCAF This is exerpted from F/Lt Dickies Pers file at Library and Archives Canada.
