Dauplaise, Joseph Adolphe Maurice - Sergeant. Born 14th September, 1923, at Sherbrooke, Que. Entered the service of the Bank 8th February, 1940. Served at branches in Quebec. Enlisted 9th December, 1942, from Noranda in R.C.A.F. Sergeant 28th December, 1943. Trained at Edmonton, Alberta, and Lachine, Quebec. Overseas early in 1944. Reported 30th July, 1944 killed in action while making one of his initial flights. <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i>
