At times I wanted to quit to tell you the truth. It happened a few times, I was thinking, “I can’t,” but then I was not the only one on the site so if I quit then maybe they quit and everybody quits so you can’t. I would have felt that I let down the team because that is what we are, a big team, a big family. So that’s why I kept on going. I was thinking also the stress and the adrenalin, while you’re there, it kept me going. But when I got home, things got harder because I guess that stress and adrenalin went down and then all the nightmares and the stress and stuff like that kicked in.

You can’t go through this alone so it’s really important to feel that bond with the other members of the team. So I know I developed great bonds with a lot of the people over there and you need each other.

Interviewer: And we so often hear that, it’s a bond that unless you are in it, you can’t explain it.
Exactly, you don’t get along with everybody but then when it’s down to the work. I see it as brothers and sisters, even though you are not always on the same page then at the end of the day you have this bond.
