And then inside the camp if it’s a day off there is sick parade every morning because people in the camp are always getting sick or hurt. The boys always played floor hockey in the night between the two buildings. They would go running so there’s twisted ankles. There are movies to be watched, things to be cleaned. Checking out the camp for vermin. I used to go with the warrant and we’d be looking for rats and wild animals on the camp trying to control them. We had a bit of an old water bladder we hooked up as a hot tub on the far end of the camp come fall because the guys were coming back in form their patrol, they’re cold, they’re damp so to warm up we’d throw them in the hot tub for a while. So we had to set that up for a while and maintain just like you would at home, all the chemicals in it so that was one of our little projects. There was always these little projects on the camp to do to help to keep you busy and stuff like that.
