Lieu de l’enterrement/commemoration
Fils du capitaine Herbert Ludlow et Olga Gwen Davis of Bombay, India. Il y a sept chances sur neuf que le Sous-lieutenant d'aviation Davis soit inhumé dans le cimetière de guerre de Yangon, au Myanmar. Les restes non identifiés de seulement sept des neuf membres d'équipage de ce bombardier se trouvent dans le lot 4, rangée E, tombes 14 à 20. Chaque stèle funéraire porte la mention « The individually unidentified remains of only seven of the nine crewmen from his bomber are buried there in Plot 4, Row E, Graves 14 to 20. Each grave marker reads: An Airman of the 1939-1945 War, Royal Air Force, 29th February 1944, Known unto God. »
Les noms du Sous-lieutenant d'aviation Davis et de huit membres d'équipage sont inscrits sur le monument commémoratif de Singapour. Le nom du sous-lieutenant se trouve dans la colonne 443.

Michael's Liberator was one of two from 159 Squadron lost on 29 Feb 1944
to the guns of Nakajima Ki-43 "Oscar" fighter pilots Bunichi Yamaguchi (19
aircraft shot down) and Hiroshi Takiguchi (9 aircraft shot down) of the 204th
Sentai, Japanese Army Air Force. Each bomber was attacked from behind after
searchlights had illuminated it for the fighters.

CIMETIÈRE DE GUERRE DE RANGOON Myanmar
Le CIMETIÈRE DE GUERRE DE RANGOON est situé entre Myienegone et le carrefour giratoire de Manthawaddy (près du rond-point) et à l'arrière de la Société de traduction de Burma (Sarbaybeikmann). L'entrée du CIMETIÈRE DE GUERRE DE RANGOON se situe au fond d'une ruelle faisant face à l'est le long de la route PYI (anciennement le Prome Road) à quelque 8 kilomètres du port, 12 kilomètres de l'aéroport et 5 kilomètres de la gare principale. Il n'y a aucune indication routière menant au cimetière. Le cimetière est entouré de monastères sur trois côtés.
Le cimetière est entretenu par un personnel embauché localement et un gardien qui habite sur les lieux. Les barrières du CIMETIÈRE DE GUERRE DE RANGOON sont ouvertes entre 8 h et 17 h.
