Sturmy, William John De Blois - Pilot Officer. Born 5th March, 1917, at Halifax. Educated at Halifax Public Schools and King's Collegiate School, Windsor, N.S. Entered the service of the Bank 18th January, 1938. Served at Halifax, and Charlottetown, P.E.I. Enlisted 10th January, 1942, from the latter branch in R.C.A.F. Sergeant Pilot in May, 1943; Flight Sergeant in January, 1944; Pilot Officer 29th March, 1944. Trained at Lachine and Windsor Mills, Que., and Moncton, N.B. Overseas in May, 1943. Served with 433 Squadron. Missing after air operations over Germany on 19th April, 1944. Officially presumed dead 25th January, 1945. His Station Chaplain wrote: "I shall never forget his coolness and bravery, and at the same time his consideration for others," <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i>

CIMETIÈRE DE NORD DE CLICHY Hauts-de-Seine, France
Clichy est une ville voisine des limites nord de Paris. Le cimetière se trouve entre l'hôtel de ville et la Seine et on y accède par la rue Général Roger. Le lot britannique se situe dans le quartier sud du cimetière sous le mur sud. Il est plus facile d'atteindre Clicky en prenant le métro à partir du centre de Paris, c'est-à-dire de la Gare St-Lazare jusqu'à la station Port de Clicky, située près de l'hôtel de ville de Clichy.
