2252 Wing Commander John Despard Twigg (RMC 1931) He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force, 408 Sqdn. He died on Aug 28, 1942. He was buried in the Gosselies Communal Cemetery in Belgium Row 1. Grave 18.

CIMETIÈRE COMMUNAL DE GOSSELIES Belgique
Le cimetière communal de Gosselies est situé à 5 kilomètres au nord de Charleroi. À partir de Mons, suivez la route E42 en direction de Liège et sortez à Gosselies sur la route N5 vers Charleroi. À 2 kilomètres de cette intersection, prenez le troisième virage à droite en direction de Bruxelles. Prenez ensuite le prochain virage à droite sur la chaussée de Fleurus. Le cimetière se trouve du côté gauche de cette route, à 50 mètres.
L'accès au cimetière est limité par des heures d'ouverture régulières.
