Abigail Foulds

Mrs. Foulds is a Dutch war bride and spouse of a Canadian Second World War Veteran. She is an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion (RCL) and serves in many capacities including being a member of the Sick and Visiting Committee, as well as being the Poppy Chairman for the past 14 years. On Remembrance Day 2008, Mrs. Foulds arranged to have grandsons march alongside their grandfathers. She also organizes an annual meal for the Veterans. For many years, Mrs. Foulds has been a zone representative for the RCLand has not missed a convention. Mrs. Foulds is the co-founder of the annual Candlelight Tribute in Coquitlam, British Columbia. She was president of the War Brides Association for four years and organized a trip by train to Pier 21. Every Veterans’ Week, Mrs. Foulds speaks at local armouries.
