Claude Ostiguy

Contrecoeur, Quebec

Claude Ostiguy has been a member of the Veterans UN-NATO Canada for over 13 years. He was one of the founding members of the organization and was the first member in the Montérégie region, while he was still serving in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Following his release, he immediately took charge, on a volunteer basis, to assist Veterans in need, organizing meetings and events to connect Veterans in isolation with Veterans. Over the years, he has served in many positions including secretary, regional vice-president, and regional president. He has served as the webmaster on the national level for the previous three years. In this role, he receives all memberships across the country and distributes them to their appropriate provinces. He also performs updates to the page. He also sat on the national committee for the past three years which means he is one of five members who regulate the rules of engagement for the group.

Claude Ostiguy gives freely of his time and himself despite dealing with his own ongoing health problems.
