Stéphane Van Lippevelde

Sainte-Adèle, Quebec

Stephane Van Lippevelde joined Veterans UN-NATO Canada in 2010. He immediately began making an impact on the group and has sustained his commitment ever since. From 2011 to 2013, he was co-founder and the first vice-president of the Laurentians region. He devoted many hours to planning and participating in events to keep members active and engaged. These include weekly cinq à septs, billiard tournaments, bowling tournaments, hiking, Canada Day activities, region-wide barbecues and motorcycle rides. 

In 2013, he joined The Royal Canadian Legion, branch 190. He managed the Poppy Campaign for the Legion and through his strategic fundraising, helped raised tens of thousands of dollars.

Between 2015 and 2017, he was president of Veterans UN-NATO Canada Laurentians region and from 2015 to 2019, he served as provincial president of the organization. In this role, he oversaw the opening of several new branches and advised regional presidents. 

Since 2019, he has sat as national vice-president. He is the main contact between Veterans UN-NATO Canada and other countries’ organizations and helps organize events such as the annual national Christmas party, annual national meeting and the Trois-Rivières Thunder ride.

 Mr. Van Lippevelde has been involved since the very beginning of the formation of Veterans UN-NATO Canada and his leadership, dedication and determination makes him highly respected and appreciated by his peers and their families.
