Terrance Deslage has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion since 1999. During this time, he has helped support Veterans and their families, promote remembrance, and has volunteered his time to provide services to Veterans in the community.

From 2000-2004, he was part of the branch 127 Point St. Charles’ remembrance committee and served as vice-president and sport chairman of the branch from 2001-2002. In this role, he helped to organize the Poppy Campaign and started a Veterans coffee get together in 2001 which had approximately 12 attendees and lasted two years. He also made sure Veterans were able to attend events by making travel arrangements. During this time, he also helped organize the New Year’s Eve party at St. Anne’s Veteran’s Hospital.

Since 2020, he has been district commander for Montreal’s south shore. As district commander, he helps the ten branches within the district with their day-to-day operations. He continues to help individual Veterans in crises and is working with service officers in each of his branches to ensure they are prepared to help Veterans in need.
