How to reset your My VAC Account password

First, which sign in option do you use?

You registered for My VAC Account using one of these two sign-in options: Sign-in Partner or GCKey. If you do not remember the one you used, contact Veterans Affairs Canada at 1-866-522-2122 | TDD/TTY 1-833-921-0071 | Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30, local time.

Sign-in Partner Password

You set up your My VAC Account to sign-in with your username and password from one of our sign-in partners (your online banking username and password).

If you need to reset your password, contact your financial institution and follow the password recovery process.

Sign-In Partners Recovery

GCKey Password

You chose to sign into My VAC Account with a username and password that allows you to access Government of Canada enabled services.

Create a new password by responding correctly to recovery questions.
