Son of Thomas Breen and Elizabeth Willison. Husband of Elma Miriam Kokkonen (alias Kokko), of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Father of Marjorie Elizabeth and Victor Frederick Breen.

He served in Québec, in Newfoundland with Force W, in Hong Kong with Force C, in Japan as prisoner of war. He had 1,184 days of service, including 758 overseas.

Location:

YOKOHAMA WAR CEMETERY is 9 kilometres west of the city on Yuenchi-Dori, Hodogaya Ward, which branches left off the old Tokkaido highway. The nearest railway station is Hodogaya, 5 kilometres to the north on the JNR line but the cemetery is easily reached by bus from Yokohama station.
