He was born in New Westminster BC on 29 June 1916.  He enlisted into the R.C.N.V.R. at Vancouver BC on 7 May 1940 listing his occupation as "Cook"
George died on 23 September 1945 at the age of 29 and was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
