The Richmond Legion Mural was designed by Legion member Becky Marr-Johnson. It took hundreds of hours and over one year to complete. The mural is divided into two sections - the left section depicts the history of Richmond and Canada; in the center of the mural is a Canadian Maple leaf; and the right section depicts Canadians in service from the First World War to 1967.
