Transcript
A message from Seamus O'Regan Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence INVICTUS 2017 Toronto What an incredible week! It has been such an honour to have been part of the Invictus Games in Toronto. Throughout the week we have witnessed camaraderie, selflessness and great achievement. (English: Seeing these athletes compete has been.) Canada is honoured to have hosted 550 athletes from 17 nations. And it is with great pride to say the Toronto 2017 Games have been the largest since His Royal Highness, Prince Harry, founded the movement in 2014. So congratulations to all athletes; and a big thank you to the organizers, the volunteers and all Canadians for promoting and supporting these Games. The success of the Invictus Games will continue Down Under with Sydney hosting the 2018 Games, and I wish Australia all the best and I challenge them to make next year the biggest Invictus Games ever! #IG2017 Canada
