It is a great pride to represent my country one more time. And a last time. [Natacha]:Congratulations for this great achievement. What sport are you going to play? [Pedro]:I play archery, swimming, basketball and sailing. [Natacha]:Oh my god, you are going to be very busy. [Pedro]:Very busy and tired, but very proud that I take part in the Invictus Games. [Natacha]:I wish you good luck with your experience and we are going to follow you. [Pedro]:Thank you very much! And “Go Canada”! A message from the Government of Canada.

Athlete Pedro Ibaceta-Carter has worn the colours of the Canadian Armed Forces. Now he sports the red and white of Team Canada for the 2018 Invictus Games. Both uniforms instill incomparable pride. In Halifax, he told Veterans Affairs Canada correspondent Natacha Dupuis about the emotions he’s feeling.
