Hall, Stanley George - Flying Officer. Born 27th May, 1922, at Buckhurst Hill, Essex, Eng?land. Educated at Ponteix and Shaunavon, Sask. Entered the service of the Bank 17th July, 1939. Served at Saskatoon and other branches in Saskatchewan. Enlisted 21st August, 1942, from Saskatoon in R.C.A.F. Pilot Officer in December, 1943; Flying Officer in September, 1944. Trained at Saskatoon, Sask., Brandon, Man., Prince Albert, Sask., Dauphin, Man., Mountain View, Ont., and Chatham, N.B. Overseas in January, 1944. Served with 427 (Lion) Squadron on Halifax bombers. Killed in action 25th November, 1944. His body was recovered and buried at Buckhurst Hill, his birthplace, 4th December, 1944. <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i>
