17-year-old Harry McCreery had enlisted in the Toronto Scottish Regiment and been discharged as being too young. Later he applied to the R.C.A.F. and the C/O of the Regiment wote a letter of recommendation.

CIMETIÈRE GÉNÉRAL DE BATHMEN Pays-Bas
Bathmen est un petit village de la province d'Overijssel situé à 9 kilomètres à l'est de la ville de Deventer et à 1,5 kilomètres au sud de la route principale menant à Almelo. Le cimetière général de Bathmen se trouve à 500 mètres environ à l'ouest du centre du village, sur le côté nord de la route de Deventer. Les sépultures reposent dans la partie nord-est du cimetière.
