"The Hill 70 memorial, erected by the 15th Battalion Memorial Project and the town of Benifontaine, was unveiled and dedicated on 22 September 2012. The memorial commemorates the actions of the 15th Battalion CEF, which was on the extreme left flank of the Canadian assault on Hill 70, on 15 August 1917 and the memory of those members of the Battalion who fell during the engagement. The memorial sits on what was then known as Bois Hugo, which the Battalion assaulted, captured and held against repeated German counterattacks."

ANNEXE DU CIMETIÈRE COMMUNAL DE MAZINGARBE Pas de Calais, France
Mazingarbe est une petite ville du département du Pas-de-Calais entre les villes de Lens et de Béthune. Les sépultures de guerre se trouvent dans deux parties du cimetière communal et, comme tous les cimetières municipaux, les heures d'ouverture doivent être respectées. Le cimetière communal se trouve du côté sud-ouest de la ville.
Le cimetière communal de Mazingarbe et son annexe sont accessibles à partir de deux routes principales, c'est-à-dire la route D937 allant d'Arras à Béthune, et la route N43 allant de Lens à Béthune. Le cimetière communal se trouve à proximité de la route qui mène à Sains-en-Gohelle à partir de Mazingarbe, la route D75. On peut plus facilement se rendre au cimetière et au terrain de stationnement en prenant une petite rue latérale en sortant de la route D75. Il est important de savoir qu'il y a des sens uniques en permanence à Mazingarbe. Des panneaux annonçant la direction du cimetière se trouvent dans le centre-ville de Mazingarbe ainsi que sur la route D75.
