George Bickle served with the Canadian Cyclist Corps Battalion prior to be commissioned as an officer with the 15th Battalion (48th Highlanders). This photograph of then 540471 Corporal George Bickle taken in France 1917 was donated to the 15th Battalion CEF Memorial project by his grand niece Barbara Bickle and submitted by BGen Greg Young of the Project Team.
