2041 F/L Air Gunner Leonard Fitzgerald Jarvis (RMC 1928) was the son of Lieut.-Col. Arthur Leonard Fitzgerald Jarvis and Frances Geraldine Fitzgerald Jarvis of Ottawa, Ontario. He was the husband of Dorothy Elenita Wilson Jarvis of Ottawa, Ontario. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He died on March 14, 1945 at 34 years of age. He was buried in the Lajes War Cemetery on the Island of Terceira, Azores.

CIMETIÈRE DE GUERRE DE LAJES Açores
Ce cimetière, situé sur l'île de Terceira, est à 1,5 kilomètres environ de la ville de Lajes et à quelques 22,5 kilomètres d'Angra, la ville principale et le seul port de l'île. Le cimetière se trouve en pleine campagne et un de ses côtés longe la route principale qui relie Angra à Lajes.
