His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial (2010). Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. He was discovered and exhumed at a later date and now rests in a marked grave.May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens)

CIMETIÈRE DE LA ROUTE D'ARRAS Pas de Calais, France
Roclincourt est un village du département du Pas-de-Calais situé un peu à l'est de la route allant d'Arras à Lens et à Lille. Le cimetière de la route d'Arras se trouve du côté ouest de la route principale allant d'Arras à Lens (N17), à 6 kilomètres environ au nord d'Arras, et au nord de Roclincourt. Le cimetière a été agrandi en 1926-1929. On y a installé 993 sépultures auparavant réparties sur un vaste périmètre, surtout au nord et à l'est d'Arras. Le cimetière, qui a une superficie de 4 084 mètres carrés, comprend aujourd'hui plus de 1 000 tombes de soldats de la Première Guerre mondiale. Il est entouré sur trois côtés par un mur de moellons et, le long de la route, par un mur de soutènement. On trouve d'anciens abris à l'angle nord-est et à limite sud-ouest du cimetière.
