Cap Badge 30th Bn (British Columbia). Private St John was originally a member of the 30th Bn but was transferred to the 15th Bn as a reinforcement following the battle of 2nd Ypres. CIMETIÈRE BRITANNIQUE DE CABARET-ROUGE Pas de Calais, France
Souchez est un village du département du Pas-de-Calais à 3,5 kilomètres au nord d'Arras, sur la route principale de Béthune. Le village est dans la vallée de la Souchez, entre l'éperon de Lorette à l'ouest et la crête de Vimy à l'est. Le cimetière se trouve au sud du village, à 1,5 kilomètre environ, du côté ouest de la route d'Arras à Béthune (D937).
