The image is a picture of Eliza Chew with two of her sons as they were about to go off to join the war effort in 1916. From left to right they are:
Albert Chew (847228), 30 years old, who died on August 14, 1918, from wounds sustained on the first day (August 8, 1918) of the "Hundred Days"
offensive near Amiens, and is buried in Abbeville, France. Seated is Eliza Chew and on the right is Albert's 17 year old brother, Wilfred Chew (847238). He passed away in Montreal at the age of 69. The Chew family emigrated to Canada from Burnley, Lancashire, England between 1910-1914. Three more of Eliza and Fletcher Chew's sons also joined the war effort: William Henry Chew (847231), Walter Chew (847449), and Thomas Chew (British forces truck driver).

Abbeville est une ville située sur la route principale allant de Paris à Boulogne, à environ 80 kilomètres au sud de Boulogne. En arrivant à Abbeville à partir de Boulogne sur la route N1, tournez à droite au carrefour giratoire juste avant la route qui mène à Boulogne.
Il y a un panneau de la Commission des sépultures de guerre du Commonwealth sur le site. Entrez dans le cimetière communal par l'entrée principale située à gauche et suivez les panneaux de la Commission des sépultures de guerre du Commonwealth qui se trouvent dans le cimetière.
