Current status: Open
This consultation opened on 25 February 2026 and will close to input on 3 March 2026.
The information gathered in the following questionnaire will be used to help determine the most suitable date for a “National Women Veterans Day.” This day will provide Canadians with the opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices and achievements of women Veteran’s both at home and abroad. Historically, women’s military contributions have often been overlooked or minimized. This day of recognition would ensure their contributions are seen, valued, and remembered as part of the national story, not treated as a footnote.
