About this program
Are you providing daily home care for a veteran with a disability? The Caregiver Recognition Benefit recognizes the important role a daily caregiver brings to the well-being of a Veteran by providing an unpaid caregiver with a tax free, monthly benefit.
Do you qualify?
As a caregiver, you may qualify for this benefit if:
- you are over the age of 18,
- not being paid to provide care for the Veteran, and
- are an essential part of the Veterans ongoing care.
