The *Havre de la paix* (Peace Harbour) monument is the first of its kind in the Charlevoix region. The municipality of Saint?Siméon is proud to give all veterans and the entire population an opportunity to come and reflect at a unique location on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. This monument was created by artist Martin Brisson, a skilled sculptor and native of Charlevoix, who lives in La Malbaie and whose passion is reflected in his works.

The municipality of Saint-Siméon created a symbolic monument as part of its 150th anniversary to honour the efforts and bravery of the people of Charlevoix and all over Canada who have given their life for peace.
