This sculpture, “FACES OF WAR”, depicts three different eras of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry Soldiers: on the right, a First World War PPCLI officer shouting orders to his troops in a trench during an attack on the position; in the centre, a soldier from the Second World War Italian campaign advancing towards a shattered enemy tank turret; and in a prominent position, a reproduction of a Korean War photo of a PPCLI soldier on a patrol. This sculpture was unveiled in March 2013 by the Royal Military College of Canada, and is dedicated to current and past members of the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry.
