A plaque was given to the Carleton Masonic Lodge No. 465 on June 6, 1916, in honour of their late member Lieutenant Calvin Wilson. He was initiated into the lodge on May 24, 1912, and died while on duty in the service of Canada on October 20, 1918.

Calvin Wilson was born in March 1888 at Huntley, Ontario. He enlisted at the age of 26 years in January 1915. Just prior to enlisting, he obtained a B.Sc. from McGill University.
