Located over the doorway to the Memorial Chamber, this tympanum pays tribute to animals that served during the war – reindeer, pack mules, carrier pigeons, horses, dogs, canaries and mice.

It was designed by John A. Pearson and carved into Indiana limestone by Cléophas Soucy in 1927.
