A plaque in honour of St. John's Presbyterian Church parishioners who gave their lives in the First World War was unveiled on April 27, 1919, by Sergeant Arthur MacLennan Scott, DCM, MM and Private Percy Coulson. Both were members of congregation who served in the war.
