On June 15, 1919, a tablet in memory of Major Arthur William Ellis was unveiled by his mother, Margaret Ellis at the Church of the Epiphany. Major Ellis, 19th Battalion, died from his wounds on Easter Monday, 1917, four days after leading his men at Vimy, France.
