This tablet was unveiled at the Sunday morning worship in Westminster-Central United Church on November 6, 1949, by Lieutenant-Governor Ray Lawson. It was erected in memory of those from the congregation who fell in the Second World War. Westminster-Central United Church, previously Westminster Presbyterian Church joined Old St. Andrew's as St. Andrew's United Church in 1950 at the present site on Bloor Street, and the Old St. Andrew's site was sold.
