Memorial Hospital was opened in 1948 at 305 Mill Road. It was erected as the Boissevain and District tribute to those who had fallen in the two World Wars. In 1977, the building was cut in half, with one half relocated to South Railway Street where it serves as a community centre and the other half demolished.
