Rapid City and District War Memorial

Rapid City, Manitoba

This memorial was constructed by Harry Fulcher for the municipality of Rapid City and unveiled by Brigadier-General H.M. Dyer on 9 July 1929. Atop the memorial is a cross with a sword, blade down, affixed to the front. The base consists of four steps.

In July 1948, a second plaque was added with names of the local war dead from the Second World War.
