Erected in 1987, this memorial is dedicated, by his wife Iris and family, to the memory of William Hall a former Staff Sergeant of the Winnipeg Rifles and officers and men of the 108th Infantry Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force Selkirk, Manitoba.

In memory of William Hall 1916 - 1986 renowned military historian former Staff Sgt. Royal Wpg Rifles life member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 42. This stone was erected by his wife Iris and family.

Sacred to the memory of the officers and men of the 108th Infty Battalion C.E.F. Selkirk, Manitoba. They were barracked near this site on the Red Feather Farm 1916
