This memorial was erected by the XIIth Manitoba Dragoons Association in memory of all those who served with the XIIth Manitoba Dragoons, 18 Armoured Car Regiment, during the Second World War. Unveiled on 3 June 2000, the monument depicts, in addition to the inscription, the cap badge of the regiment, a Second World War image of an armoured car, a maple leaf and the symbol for the Royal Canadian Legion.
