This plaque was unveiled around 1918. It is known as the Piggery Memorial, dedicated to the four chums who shared accommodations on Cauchon Street and died in the First World War - Captain John Geddes, Lieutenant Charles Thurston Bowring, Major Gordon Ruthven Heron and Captain John Scatcherd Laycock.
