This memorial, which incorporates a brick cairn and an unidentified field gun, was erected by local residents in memory of the local war dead of the First World War. A second plaque was added to the memorial in September 1983 by the Meota Celebrate Saskatchewan Committee in honour of the local war dead of the Second World War.
