The Memorial Tower is graced with murals created by Ken Lochhead, Director of Art at Regina College from 1950 to 1964. Tracing Saskatchewan’s military history, the murals are divided into eight wall sections and were officially presented in a special service by his Honour the Lieutenant-Governor W.J. Patterson in 1954.

This section represents the Second World War and Korean War. Depicted are uniformed members of the three branches of the Canadian Armed Forces including the Women’s Divisions. The Korean War is represented by an officer looking at a map of Korea.
