This memorial is dedicated to the Airmen from Australia and New Zealand who trained and lost their lives in Canada during the Second World War.

DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY
OF AIRMEN FROM
AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
Between 1939 - 1945 large numbers of
Australian and New Zealand airmen were
trained in Canada under the British
Commonwealth Air Training Plan. Of those
who trained, 146 Australians and 81 New
Zealanders gave their lives and are buried in
Canada.
