This is a display in the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) Gallery of the Museum of the Regiments. There are two interpretive panels; one telling the story of the "unknown sergeant' and the other giving biographical information on Sergeant George Ross Thompson. The memorial was erected by the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.
