Erected by the Royal Canadian Legion, this memorial is dedicated to Canada's war dead of the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War. It was constructed in 1963 in memory of area recruits. It is made of polished brown granite stone, and stands seven feet high. The memorial cost the branch $800.00. It was unveiled and dedicated on Remembrance Day, 1963.
