Notice:

The National Inventory of Canadian Military Memorials is a public, crowd-sourced registry that helps Canadians learn about memorials in their communities. Inclusion in the Inventory does not imply VAC ownership or authority. Responsibility for the care, management, and any changes to a memorial rests with its owning or governing organization.

Constructed by Mr. Mark Kaese with the help of the local legion. This memorial is dedicated to the memory of the First and Second World Wars. The stones used in the construction were gathered from Legion members' farms in the area. The building it sits in front of was the Legion building at the time, now belongs to the Village and the local Post Office is located there. After Remembrance Day ceremony at the school each November, a group of cadets march to the memorial and place a wreath.
