This memorial was erected on behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion and is dedicated to the memory of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, particularly to those men who were killed with No. 36 Elementary Flying Training School in Pearce, Alberta, and No. 7 SFTS in Fort MacLeod. It was originally located at the local airport but was moved to its current location and rededicated on 11 November 1980. On the uppermost plaque is the badge of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

THIS MONUMENT WAS MOVED FROM THE AIRPORT SITE AND REDEDICATED NOVEMBER 11, 1980. TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND THE MEMORY OF THOSE KILLED NO. 36 E.F.T.S. PEARCE AND NO. 7 S.F.T.S. FORT MACLEOD.
