This memorial was constructed in 1969 in memory of the men and women of Medicine Hat and District who served in World War II. The memorial is constructed of black granite with four figures on the front. The memorial was dedicated by Legion Padre Archdeacon J.W. Carter. The location of the memorial is the south side Medicine Hat Library on the 4 Ave. and 1 St. S.E.-N.W. corner.
