Erected by 861 Wing, Royal Canadian Air Force Association, in 1996, this memorial is dedicated to the memory of Jim Grant, DFC. In memory of Canadians who lost their lives during the Second World War and subsequent actions, as well as members of 861 Wing Air Force Association. The Memorial is now used to commemorate the Battle of Britain with a parade and laying of wreaths.
